Pam Knibbs, known as Pam

Pam was a remarkable, unique and beautiful lady in every way. She was true family person who would give her heart and soul and fight with all her strength to protect those she loved and cared for. In return she was loved by almost every one whose lives she touched. A truly amazing and lovely woman. Pam was born on the second of February 1945 in Coventry the youngest of 3 children. During her formative years the family moved to many different addresses until eventually moving to Chelveston in Northampton shire. It was while there she met Bryan and after a while they started courting eventually marrying on 28th September 1963 when she was 18 years old. Pam and Bryan lived first in Rushden but soon moved to Raunds where three years after marrying their first child, Roger was born followed 13 months later by Ian. The family stayed in Raunds for about 5 years eventually moving to Needingworth in Cambridgeshire where Pam and Bryan became approved foster parents and fostered Steven and David for about 4 years finally adopting them and taking them into the family and hearts as their own sons. Pams' sons flourished and grew into young men got married and over the years presented her and Bryan with 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson all of whom were greatly loved and cherished by their Nan. Until illness began to play a major part in Pams life she was a very outgoing person who made friends easily. Her greatest friend from her latter years being Maureen who she met while on holiday in Cyprus. Pam was a fantastic cook and took great pleasure from catering for large numbers of family and friends as often as she could. Always providing more food than was required for the meal in order that the grandchildren could take home a "nanny box" for another day. This fund is being set up to honour and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable and loving lady who will live forever in our hearts
